Puddle is triggered by gas pipeline excavation on north side of channel

Head of Maintenance Section, North Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Abubakar disclosed that puddle as long as 100 meters on Jalan Plumpang Raya is triggered by gas pipeline excavation on north side of road.

As for the puddle as high as 10 centimeters on south side of road, is due to sediment in the water channel. "Puddle is triggered by gas pipeline excavation on north side of channel," he expressed, Wednesday (2/10).

Puddle Handling in Jakarta is Better

He explains there was no coordination from North Jakarta Administration related with such excavation. To anticipate another puddle, he will send a letter to the contractor.

"Despite puddle receded, we remain dredge mud in order to minimize its existence in future," he stressed.

His sub-department has also prepared portable pump to suck up puddle.
